Ray and Karen O’Brien offer you a warm welcome to Yewtree Farmhouse, a historical farmhouse converted to offer guest house accommodation with bed and breakfast. Located five miles from Newark-on-Trent town centre and just 10 minutes from the A1. Our guest house is perfectly located for exploring historic Lincoln, Stamford and Rutland Water or Robin Hood’s Sherwood Forest.

Just off the A17, it is perfectly placed for exploring both Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. To the west, Newark-on-Trent is worth visiting for its castle and historical town centre. To the north, the historical city of Lincoln is well worth a visit for its cathedral. We are also a short drive from the main antiques centres and auctioneers within both counties.

Away from the hustle and bustle, staying at our bed and breakfast is a perfect sanctuary from life. It is also conveniently placed for a wealth of activities from shopping in the centre of Nottingham to horse racing in Southwell, Nottinghamshire.

Our guesthouse is just off the A17 at Beckingham, which is the main road to Newark-on-Trent and Nottingham. The nearest railway stations are 7.5 miles away at Newark North Gate (for London Kings’ Cross and Leeds) and Newark Castle (for Nottingham). A taxi from any of these railway stations is recommended.
